6.03 miles (9.70 km) – Full Loop
This is the longest loop and the only one to circumnavigate the entire Park. It follows the main road from just above Central Park South to just below 110th Street. 4.93 miles (7.93 km) – Upper Loop
Follows the same course as the 6-mile Loop (including the Harlem Hill section at the north end of the Park), but crosses the Park at the 72nd Street Transverse On the map combine these routes: the longer green, blue, northern red and both orange.
5.14 miles (8.27 km) – Lower Loop
Follows the same course as the 6-mile Loop (including the Central Park South section at the south end of the Park), but crosses the Park at the 102nd Street Transverse. On the map combine these routes: both of the green, the purple, blue, northern red and the longer orange.
4.04 miles (6.50 km) – Inner Loop
Follows the same course as the 6-mile Loop, but crosses the Park at the 102nd Street Transverse and at the 72nd Street Transverse (thereby excluding both the Harlem Hill and Central Park South sections of the Park). On the map combine these routes: both of the green, both orange and the blue.
1.72 miles (2.77 km) – Southern Loop
Comprised of the lower (Southern) Loop, which follows Central Park South and crosses the Park at the 72nd Street Transverse. On the map combine these routes: purple and the shorter orange.
1.42 miles (2.29 km) – Harlem Hill Loop
Comprised of the upper (northern) Loop, which goes up the Harlem Hill and crosses the Park at the 102nd Street Transverse. On the map combine these routes: northern red and the shorter green.
1.58 miles (2.54 km) – Reservoir Loop (on cinder track)
Reservoir Loop (marked at 110 yard intervals) following the fence around the body of water. On the map: Red reservoir route.
